MGNREGA: Tracking Women Benefits

MGNREGA is the largest safety net programme in the world. It has benefited the poor particularly SCs, STs and women in rural India.This book deals with gender issue in MGNREGA. It has tracked gender at the national and sub national levels as far as MGNREGA is concerned. This covers employment, asset creation and wage payment. This rural employment guarantee Act might be beneficial for women but there remains rooms for improvement.
